Refund Policy
When Vectiart provides refunds, the situations where refunds may not apply, and the steps required to submit a refund request.
The principle
We offer a free plan with access to the core editor features so you can explore and evaluate Vectiart before choosing a paid subscription. If you purchase a paid service that does not function as described, does not perform as expected, or experiences a significant issue that prevents you from using the service as intended, we are committed to reviewing your request fairly.
If you believe you are eligible for a refund, please contact our support team with the details of your request. We will review each case individually and work toward a reasonable resolution based on the circumstances of your purchase.
When we refund
- First subscription refunds. If you request a refund within 14 days of your initial subscription purchase and you have not made substantial use of paid features, you may be eligible for a full refund.
- Accidental subscription renewals. If your subscription renews unintentionally, contact us within 7 days of the renewal charge. We may issue a refund if the renewed subscription period has not been significantly used.
- Duplicate or incorrect charges. Payments made due to duplicate billing, technical errors, or incorrect charges will be reviewed and, where confirmed, refunded in full.
- Service defects affecting usage. If a technical issue prevents you from using the Services as intended and we are unable to resolve the issue within a reasonable timeframe, we may provide a full or partial refund depending on the impact and duration of the issue.
When we usually don't
- Previously used subscription periods. We generally do not provide refunds for subscription time that has already been used, including completed monthly or annual billing periods.
- Used AI credits or generated content. AI processing consumes resources when a request is submitted, so credits that have already been used are generally not eligible for refund.
- Missed cancellations. Subscription renewals that were not cancelled before the renewal date are generally non-refundable, except where they qualify under our accidental renewal terms above or applicable law requires otherwise.
- Accounts terminated for violations. Refunds are generally not available for accounts suspended or terminated due to a breach of our Terms & Conditions.
We understand that exceptional situations may occur. If you believe your circumstances are unusual, please contact us and we will review your request on a case-by-case basis.
Cancelling instead
You can cancel your subscription at any time through the billing section of your account, which may redirect you to our payment provider's customer portal to manage your subscription settings. Cancelling your subscription will stop future renewal charges, while your access to paid features will remain active until the end of the current billing period you have already paid for. After the subscription period ends, your account will continue on the free plan, and your existing projects will remain available according to the features and storage limits of that plan.
How to request a refund
To request a refund, contact us at vectiart@gmail.com using the email address associated with your account and include the following details:
- the date and amount of the charge;
- the subscription plan associated with your account;
- a brief explanation of the issue or reason for your refund request.
We aim to review and respond to refund requests within 2 business days. Approved refunds will be processed back to the original payment method through Stripe and typically appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider's processing times.
Your statutory rights
This Refund Policy applies alongside any consumer rights and legal protections you may have under applicable laws. If you are located in the EU, UK, or any other jurisdiction that provides statutory cancellation, withdrawal, refund, or cooling-off rights, those rights remain fully protected and nothing in this policy is intended to limit, exclude, or override them.
Not sure what something here means? Email vectiart@gmail.com and we'll explain it in plain terms.
